Good Social Networking for Your Site

Social networking is becoming an increasingly powerful way of increasing your brand online and building your site’s SEO potential. Having an account or page for your business set up on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn is important. Most people who frequent these online services usually have their favorite. Many love their Facebook page, others are big fans of Twitter while others prefer LinkedIn.

You’re probably thinking, “Wow, I really don’t feel like spending all of my time on each and everyone of these sites, posting everyday!”

Good news: The cool thing is that all these networking sites can link together so that if you post something on your facebook page, it will automatically go to your twitter account and then will automatically be passed on to post on your linkedin page as well. That way you can communicate with people on all of these networks by just posting one time.

One step even better; if you have a blog on your site, it can be linked to your Facebook page, which connects to the other two networking sites. That way you can just post to your blog and your other sites are updated automatically.

First Thing’s First

Set up an account with Facebook.com, Twitter.com and Linkedin.com.

If You Have a Blog on Your Site

If you have a blog on your website go to Networkedblogs.com. Follow their instructions to get set up with them. This will provide you with a way to link your website’s blog to your Facebook page.

Connecting Your Facebook Page to Your Twitter Account

Here are instructions on how to connect facebook and twitter (make sure you’ve set up a twitter account first if you haven’t already)

Making Sure Your “Tweets” Post on Your LinkedIn page

Again, just a handy way to hit all the networks at once. Then every time you have some new video or other media, or other news you have about your business you can just broadcast away! All this activity can help your site’s ranking with google too. Just always include links back to fortressvegas.com. That really helps.

Contact me for more tips on how to use this effectively once you’ve got all your networking sites set up and linked.
